Your rights and our commitments under the GDPR.

Tailwippets is operated from France and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This document explains your rights under the GDPR and how you can exercise them.

This GDPR policy complements our Privacy Policy and applies to all users whose personal data is processed through the Tailwippets platform.

The data controller for Tailwippets is THDev, a French micro-entreprise based in Toulouse, France.

Tailwippets operates as a brand and product of THDev.

Right to access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Right to rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

Right to erasure: You can request deletion of your personal data at any time.

Right to restriction: You can request limitation of certain processing activities.

Right to data portability: You can request your data in a structured, commonly used format.

Right to object: You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Account deletion can be performed directly through the user interface or by contacting us via email. Deletions are processed immediately or as soon as the request is reviewed.

When an account is deleted, all associated personal data is permanently removed from our production databases.

Anonymous and aggregated usage statistics may be retained for product analytics and reporting purposes, as they cannot be linked back to an individual user.

Exported configurations are generated on the fly and are not stored after generation.

Tailwippets relies on infrastructure providers whose servers may be located in multiple regions, including Europe and outside the European Economic Area.

User data is stored on secure servers hosted by infrastructure providers such as VPS hosting services.

Where personal data is processed outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards are applied, including contractual protections in line with GDPR requirements.

If you believe that your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

In France, this authority is the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés).
