Account data: When you create an account, we collect identifiers such as your user ID, email address, and display name. Authentication is handled via NextAuth using third-party providers (GitHub, Google, email/password, and potentially Apple in the future).
User-generated data: We store product-related data linked to your account, such as saved styles, favorites, editor preferences, and usage within the platform.
Usage data: We collect anonymous usage data such as page views and interaction events to understand how the platform is used and improve the product.
Technical data: We may collect basic technical information such as browser type and device category for analytics and security purposes.
Authentication is managed using NextAuth and trusted third-party identity providers.
Password-based accounts support password reset via email. Email address verification is not currently enforced.
We take reasonable measures to protect your account and stored data, but you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views and basic interaction metrics.
We may introduce additional analytics tools (such as Amplitude) in the future to better understand product usage.
These tools are used in a way that does not directly identify individual users.
We currently send only transactional emails related to account security and access.
We may introduce optional product updates or changelog emails in the future.
Any non-essential emails will be sent only if you explicitly opt in, and you will be able to unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share limited data with trusted service providers strictly for operating the platform (such as hosting, authentication, and analytics).
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Tailwippets and its users.
We retain your personal data only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service.
When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently deleted without delay.
Anonymous and aggregated usage statistics may be retained for analytical purposes.
